Husband Right vs. Wife’s Heart: Who Wants to Choose

Polygamy has been a very controversial subject. Polygamy is a custom of having more than one wife at the same time. One important aspect of controversy is weather a man should be permitted to do polygamy. Supporters claim that it is the part of the human right or even tends to husband right, while the opponents states the existence of true love in a family.

The proponent of polygamy stands on the right given by the religion, especially Moslem. They are allowed to have more than one wife as long as it is not more than four ones. However, there are some conditions where the man can do polygamy. The conditions are (1) not for lust, (2) fair. Not for lust means a marriage is not based on lust. The man does not marry the second wife – doing polygamy – because of the beauty of the woman. It should tend to save the woman. Fair refers to the way of expressing the husband’s love. Weather in maintenance’s division even to the loving care division. The supporters believe that if they can fulfil the conditions, they should be allowed to do polygamy.

However, the heart of the wife is still a sensitive part. One way to show the man that she loves him is by having him exclusively. The wife puts herself as the most important one for the husband. While bringing “the second love” means unrespectable of the woman’s love.

The other oppositional reason is that polygamy as psychical hardness. It will hurt the heart of the wife. Our country announces the protecting of the citizen by hindering from hardness in domestic, weather it is physical or psychical hardness. The wife can be stressed in her home. Actually, it is the kind of hardness that the government want to avoid.

Considering the reasons above, polygamy is a very hard thing to be done. It is allowing the release of love. The husband right has to face the wife’s heart. In addition, it will meet in a very difficult choice to be chosen.
